Hotels - Porter and Bell Staff Services
Our Porter and Bell Staff Services employees:
- Carry guests’ luggage to the desired locations.
- Position themselves to open car doors, politely greet guests and visitors upon arrival, and offer assistance with baggage, when appropriate.
- Understand that first impressions are often the most lasting.
- Accompany visitors with bags from the car or facility entrance to the guest’s destination.
- Never leave baggage unattended outside of designated luggage room.
- Complete a training course in customer service, back safety and lift techniques before beginning the first day on the job.
- Work closely with valet attendants, when relevant, to provide a seamless customer service experience for hotel guests from the moment of arrival.
- Remain accessible and dedicated to offering quality assistance.
- Make an effort to remember repeat guests and greet them by name, when possible.
