NU Cuisine Lounge
With its upscale atmosphere, downtown location and sophisticated fusion cuisine, it was no surprise that five-star restaurant NU Cuisine Lounge consistently packed in close to 300 patrons each night. It was quite a feat, however, considering NU Cuisine Lounge had less than 75 parking spaces.
So how did customers find parking without waiting in line or patrolling the streets for vacant spots? Simple. They drove up to the restaurant, hopped out of their cars and let Valet Solutions find parking for them.
“If we didn’t have valet, it would be the death of our business,” NU Cuisine Lounge Owner and Executive Chef Paul Novicky once said of his restaurant’s limited parking situation in the Little Rock River Market District. He went on to say that parking was critical for his business and, thanks to Valet Solutions, his customers always had a place to park.
Novicky hired Valet Solutions in February 2005 to replace a valet service that had been parking cars at NU for a year. He said he fired the previous company because he needed a valet service that was more professional, dependable and capable of helping promote NU Cuisine Lounge’s upscale image.
While reviewing Valet Solutions’ business proposal, Novicky said he was instantly impressed with the company. The business plan demonstrated that each employee would have a professional uniform and extensive training – and it even guaranteed unlimited parking. Novicky said hiring Valet Solutions was practically a no-brainer.
“(Company Owner) Josh Wallace is always accessible and he takes care of everything that comes up,” Novicky once said. “It’s a great company. They operate like a well-oiled machine.”
Throughout its association with NU Cuisine Lounge, Valet Solutions kept its promise of unlimited parking, met and exceeded the expectations of Novicky – making him a very satisfied client, and helped the restaurant become a smashing success.
